Hi All, I have installed VDR 1.7.28 on my olimex allwinner A20 using the following procedure: https://wiki.debian.org/VDR This works great for TV channels, but when I switch to a radio channel, vdr-sxfe dies. When I restart vdr-sxfe, it dies again, but I hear about a tenth of a second of music. I also have installed vdr-live. I can use the web interface to change the channel to a TV station. Then I can start vdr-sxfe, and I can watch TV without problem. The messages from vdr-sxfe when it dies [24167] [input_vdr] wait_stream_sync: discard_index 522650152 != curpos 522642632 ! (diff 7520) received X error event: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes) X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes) Major opcode of failed request: 132 (XVideo) Minor opcode of failed request: 17 () Serial number of failed request: 2124 Current serial number in output stream: 2124 Next attempt: received X error event: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes) X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes) Major opcode of failed request: 132 (XVideo) Minor opcode of failed request: 17 () Serial number of failed request: 147 Current serial number in output stream: 147 olimex@a20-OLinuXino:~$ Kind regards, Cedric
Hi,
set Visualization to Off in "setup/plugins/xineliboutput" or stop your VDR service, and edit setup.conf to modify
xineliboutput.Audio.Visualization = none
Zouhair.

Hi,
I had the same problem. The reason was some library version mismatch, libraries from opensuse mixed up with others from packman. I think that it was libxine + dependencies. After switching vendor for some packages (opensuse -> packman) and updating, the problem was gone.
