Hi! I am trying to write a recmenu plugin, that implements archive-hdd functions. It is very hard to derive from VDRs original classes, because Klaus has set most class members private, instead of protected. So I have to implement everything myself, which is very unnecessary.

I have written a patch to include the archive-hdd functions in VDR directly. I have tested it for a longer time, and it works without problems. It can be found here: http://www.vdr-portal.de/board17-developer/board25-patches/119877-vdr-archiv... Maybe Klaus could have a look at it, as a proof of concept.

With the patch included, I could continue my plugin with renaming and sorting functions more easy. This plugin will be similar to the extrecmenu Plugin, which has a exemplary renaming and folder managment function. Also the cutting queue is great.
