I just realized that the text2skin plugin detects texts like

[||||||| ]

(i.e. starting with '[', ending with ']' and only composed of '|' and spaces) as progressbars and renders them as such. I just wanted to say you: brilliant! Now, if only the vdr standard skins did the same...
