I was recording a program on one tuner, while recording and delayed viewing a sports feed on the second tuner.

When the carrier was dropped at the end of the event, this triggered an emergency exit, thus disrupting the recording in progress on the first tuner.

You can prevent emergency exit from actually exiting within VDR setup, or setting `EmergencyExit = 0` in the setup.conf file.
