can you watch hdtv channels on Popcorn with vdr 174 ?

This week I switched to vdr-1.7.4 and streamdev-cvs (both without any patches). Its better than vdr-1.7.0 and streamdev-1.3.4 but popcornhour still sometimes freezes (while watching SD /HDTV channels) and power off from electrical network is needed.
I tried Nova HD and Eurosport HD channels and I am able to watch both of them. But sometimes with freezing.
With what can I help? Could I save stream and store somewhere to FTP for analysing or send some logs from vdr?

On German VDR portal (http://www.vdr-portal.de/board/thread.php?postid=795607#post795607) someone reported that things got much better after updating PCH A-110 firmware to the 2009-02-26 release. Changelog indicates:
- Fixed TS with stream6 as teletext playback cause out of memory
That would be a reasonable explanation for having to powercycle PCH...

Yes, I confirm this. With the latest firmware, the memory leakage is gone and the PCH can be used more than 20 min ;-) There is still an issue with the anamorphic parameter. The WSS info is not properly taken into account for the first 16:9 stream played. If you press the zoom factor you will come back to the gaya GUI and next time you want to play a video, it will crash the NMT. The work around consists to play another video type before (mkv/avi...). Otherwise using it as a VDR frontend works perfectly.

Hi,
afaik this behaviour is related to PES recordings only, see my bug report here (it broke sometime last year but worked with the release version of the A110!): http://www.popcornforum.de/showthread.php?tid=4143
I couldn't observe this behaviour anymore since using vdr 1.7.4 with native TS.
If this problem still exists please amend my bug report above.

I am sorry to say that this bug is still present with the latest firmware. I use the TS container and I can easily reproduce the described behavior. The only difference is that it occurs only when the first stream played is a VDR stream. The visual effect is extra black borders on top and bottom of the picture. I have already reported this bug under the networkedmediatank forum. I will make a revival too (link: http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showthread.php?tid=18918).
