Can't believe it :). The idea of course is to integrate it into vdr-xine. Therefore the fifos would be removed (even for local use) and substituted by sockets. But neither me nor anyone else has had the time to do a clean integration into vdr-xine and xinelib. Reinhard says, that this part needs a cleanup anyway...
