Ich muß meine Antwort " something is wrong with the channel data." revidieren. Die Ausgabe der Kanalliste in Original ist OK. Nur im nordlichtsEPG-8a stimmt es nicht. cCannels.ShortName(bool) liefert im Original den channels.con Eintrag links vom Komma, im nordlichtsEPG-8a ist es der rechte.

Why would a channel's Name() be *shorter* than its ShortName()? If so, something is wrong with the channel data.

have a look at
man 5 vdr
"If a short name is available for this channel, it follows the full name and is delimited by a comma, as in
RTL Television,RTL:... "
so left is the long name, right is short name.
