I think it would be also very useful to have the lenght of a recording availible. There exists the "ShowRecordingLenght-Patch" for vdr-1.2.6 and some early 1.3.x versions, but unfortunately it isn't ported to recent vdr versions. Maybe this function could be included into vdr too.
Have you tried Bigpatch, it contains enhanced AIO-patch with the features you described. But anyhow, there is "showrecording" length patches up to recent VDR versions.

You're right, it is included in the bigpatch, but I don't want the other patches, only the RLP. And I'm pretty sure that also many other people would be interested in this feature. It should really go into vdr.

Me too, i only want the recording-lenght patch or this feature integrated into vdr but not all the other pathes included in bigpatch.
