Hello
Since about vdr 1.3.39, I've noticed that ttxsubs shows recorded with tttxt subtitles will play subtitles from the program currently played (or recorded) by vdr.
On the other hand, ttxtsubs correctly shows subtitles on live (i.e. not recorded ) programs.
Has anyone noticed the same behavior ?
Thanks

Works fine here, but I'm not using Rolf's latest patch (both for vdr and ttxtsubs).
Bye

I've recently encountered the same problem since installing vdr-1.3.41 and ttxtsubs from Gentoo ebuilds.
Any solution?

You should update the ttxtsubs patch to a modern one that has support for newer VDR developer versions (ie. ttxtsubs-0.0.5-pilikumi-edition).
BR
It works fine now.
I guess from the release date that this patch applies to vdr-1.3.38 and above. I'll try to get the changes into portage as soon as possible.
thanks

I have updated the ebuild for vdr-ttxtsubs to use the pilikumi-edition-patch.

Thanks, the pilikumi edition works fine: I can view live or recorded subtitles.
The only hitch is that the adjustable delay does not seem to work. I need to delay the subtitles for 1 or 2 seconds because I use xine as primary display.
Does anyone have the same problem ?
Cheers

Works here (but it's been a looooong time since I last updated the ttxtsubs patch).
Bye
