Hi
I have TELE 5 now on number 12 (moved with the VDR channel editor to this place).
But if I try now to programm a timer in the following way: Menu -> Program -> red button I see on channel 609 TELE 5 and not 12 TELE5
The line in channel.conf is: TELE 5:12480:vC34:S19.2E:27500:1535:1536=deu:38:0:51:133:33:16387
What is wrong here?
Best regards, Matthias

Is this the one and only "TELE 5" line in your channels.conf?

no I have three lines: TELE 5:12480:vC34:S19.2E:27500:1535:1536=deu:38:0:51:133:33:16387 TELE 5:12480:vC34:0:27500:8191:0:0:0:51:133:33:16387 TELE 5;BetaDigital:12480:vC34:S19.2E:27500:0:0:0:0:51:133:33:0
Gruss Matthias

Where did the second one come from? It's obviously broken.
And what's with the "16387" as last parameter?
Try deleting all but the last entry.
Klaus

You've switched recently from VDR 1.2 to 1.4, and you kept the channels.conf, right?
The 16387 at the end is a proprietary marker of the old AutoPID patch to mark channels that should be automatically updated. Since this field is actually the radio ID, VDR keeps these channels although they're duplicated. The 1.4 channel scan later added the third valid one.
The second one is totally irregular, as it has no satellite assigned and thus no valid receiving device.
The clean way to update from VDR 1.2+AutoPID to 1.4 is to first replace all the 16387's by 0, and then let VDR 1.4 do the channel updating. Unfortunately, now you already have most channels twice, and VDR wont like that setup at all.
Cheers,
Udo

I switched to 1.4 as it becomes a devel version, so it is a little time in the past :)

I did it now how you suggested and everything seems to work fine. Timers programm now on the right channel.
Thx a lot for all your feedback.
