Hallo Listusers,
latetest version of this plugin is vdr-yaepg-0.0.9 hosted by http://captiveworks.org/open-source/vdr-yaepg/ there is no info to contakt the maintainer, btw. the contakt link results in a not available page
I have fixed/converted the plugin to use language handling by xgettext note: i18n handling is obsolet from vdr-1.7.27
i need the ok from the actuell maintainer to release vdr-yaepg-0.0.10, or send him the patch between 0.0.9 and 0.0.10 he can releas it

The true author of the plugin in bball. The last homepage for the plugin is http://projects.vdr-developer.org/git/vdr-plugin-yaepghd.git/ but I do know he lost his password a long time ago. From what I was told Captiveworks just took it and made their own fork so I guess you could do the same.
this is the HighDefinition project and will not work on SD Cards without 4Mb modification
but I do know he lost his password a long time ago.
This sounds for me, he give up the project. - last commit january 2009 - a lot of open bugs...
It isn't a problem to ask the owner form vdr-developer.org to reset the password or/and add a new one
No fork, without to kontakt the last maintainer. I will not support the chaos on the internet and add a new release somewhere in the wilderness...

Correct, but bball is still the true author. He created yaepg, and later yaepghd.
Hard to commit changes when you don't have the password. He never abandoned it, regardless of the long time since last changes.

If the own of vdr-developer.org is willing to do that, sure, but if he does then he should only add a login for an appropriate maintainer not just anybody who wants to merge their own patches. Are you willing to take the full responsibility of a maintainer?
Since you applied your patches to their fork, I guess you should ask them to merge your patches there. Honestly, yaepg[hd] would be better off re-written from the ground up but I doubt anyone have the motivation to do it.
Hello, Here in France, BISTV provider is using Viaccess Secure System. To view channels, we need a Viaccess compatible CAM like "Viaccess SMIT SECURE DUAL". For VDR, to support this CAM, I plan to buy a dvb-s2 card and a CI interface card. I found couples of items which seems to be Linux/VDR compatibles :

It seems all theses items are able to register one channel when viewing another. I guess it's true. Do you have some experience with theses hardwares ? Could you please give me somme feedback ?
Thanks a lot.

Anyone who looses his password to projects.vdr-developer.org can just use the "Lost password" link at the logon screen,
And if the SSH key to access the Git repository needs to be replaced, just, just create a ticket here :
http://projects.vdr-developer.org/projects/project-management/issues/new
or drop me a mail.
