Hi,
I have a computer with 2 DVB cards, with 2 instances of VDR running. I now want to run a 3rd instance of VDR but with no DVB card, only to play recorded vdr files and the output is through a dxr3 card. Is this possible?
Thanks. Monk

Streamdev client plugin. I think it also works without having a streamdev server attached to.
Besides, that, you maybe do not need vdr installed. Xine and mplayer both can replay the VDR files nowadays, for example.

I will look into the Streamdev plugin.
About mplayer, and Xine, I would like VDR because it can be controlled via a remote and have a menu system with OSD.
