Does anyone have any experience with this? Does it work with the pvr-input plugin?

there is a linux driver and support for mythtv. But pvrinput does not support it, as it is currently a "cx2341x"-plugin (mpeg2-hardware encoder chips cx23415/cx23416/cx23418). There is also a big difference: The HD PVR delivers not mpeg2 but a h264/mpg4 stream. I don't know if this stream is compliant to DVB-S2. One would need such a box for testing to see if it is possible to implement support in pvrinput or if it is easier to write a new plugin.
