I have been linking text2skin against libfreetype6 2.1 for a while without any problems, but I decided to update today and found that the text2skin OSD no longer displays when linking against libfreetype6 2.2. Is this a problem with text2skin or a problem with the new libfreetype6 lib?
Best Regards.
Hi,
Same here, text2skin graphics OSD is fine (pictures,...) but there is no fonts display since libfreetype6 upgrade (debian sid).
I think i found a thread on vdrportal but i don't understand german. http://www.vdr-portal.de/board/thread.php?threadid=49730&hilight=text2sk...
Is there a workaround ?
Thanks.

Not really. Elchi solved it by going back to old version. Seems like the new freetype has problems.

Hi,
The attached patch file fix the text2skin plugin which doesn't display OSD text when it's linking with libfreetype6 2.2
Best Regards,

Thank you very much. This seems to fix it. :)
