A nice new patch arrived at VDR-Portal: http://www.vdr- portal.de/board/thread.php?threadid=37309&sid=&hilight=live%2A With this Patch VDR can do permanent timeshift, so you can see the last scene again whenever you want :-)
The patch in theory seems very interesting (didn't compile & try it). Nice work.
I have additional question, if I see "interesting scene" it is nice I can rewind it. But can I also via menu/red button record it to disk?
Best regards, Jori

Not via menu/red. (menu/red is still a normal instant recording)
But there a possibilies to record this "intersting scene".
1. You can go into ReplayMode, there you can cut something out of the LiveBuffer (like normal cutting of a recording: 0 to set marks and 2 to start cutting)
2. You can create a new time and set there LiveBuffer to yes, then parts of the timer, which are in the LiveBuffer, will be added to the recording
3. If you want a instant-recording then you can set a cutting-mark like in 1. but instead of pressing 2 you can press 1. Then the marked part of the livebuffer will be copied and a normal instant record will continue.
