Hi,
My problem is that vdr says my primary DVB interface = 2.
But i have only one budget card (skystar 2) (tested with softdevice and dxr3).
Everytime i start vdr, it wants "Learning Remote Control Keys". But remotes are already ok and run fines (remote.conf is ok).
I suppose this behavior related to primary DVB interface = 2 ?
Note: debian sid (kernel 2.6.14) and vdr 1.3.36.
Thanks.
Guy

That's confusing but correct: "primary interface" is the one you see and interact with. Since you "see" vdr through softdevice/dxr3 either one of those is the primary interface. The skystar 2 would be interface 1, but that'll never be a primary interface.
I don't think so.
Bye
Thank you Luca,
Now i understand the behavior of vdr with those plugins (dxr3, softdevice) and budget card.
I fix the problem of "Learning Remote Control Keys" by adding a "-t /dev/tty8" to vdr parameters an learning KBD in this console.
Thanks again,
Guy

--no-kbd should be enough for this.
