I use the hvr4000 card + multiproto_plus + hvr4000 patch from Gregoire Favre http://linuxtv.org/pipermail/vdr/2008-May/016713.html
+ vdr 1.7.0
The hvr4000 card works well with vdr 1.7.0
But sometimes I have this error -

It mean the channel you are trying to tune to is wrong in your channels.conf.

What VDR version and patches do you use and which Multiproto driver? For VDR 1.7.0 you also need the patches from Reinhard to work with the latest Multiproto driver. The plain 1.7.0 vdr does not work with the latest Multiproto.

vdr 170 + latest h.264 patch from Reinchard + multiproto_plus + latest hvr400 patch from Gregoire
For VDR 1.7.0 you also need the patches from Reinhard to work with the latest Multiproto driver. The plain 1.7.0 vdr does not work with the latest Multiproto.
yes, I know. I repeat - I can see dvb-s/s2 hdtv channels on my vdr , but I don't like this error in my logs.

Because I hadded it when I got a wrong channel in my channels.conf... which is gone now that I corrected the channel :-)

would you disconnect, please the antenna from the card and try to tune on right, correct channels and to see in the log
