Hello!
After returning from holidays here is an updated version of the configurable LNB-sharing patch for VDR 1.3: http://xn--ltzke-jua.de/dvb/VDR_LNB_sharing_patch/configurableLNBshare-VDR_1...
Changes: - adapted to VDR 1.3.32
This release is untested but it should work as usual. The next release with a new feature is scheduled for the beginning of october.
For general information about the LNB-sharing patch have a look at: http://xn--ltzke-jua.de/dvb/VDR_LNB_sharing_patch/Description.txt http://www.vdr-wiki.de/wiki/index.php/Lnbsharing-patch (german)

Hello,
I don't know if I do things bad or if there is a problem :
let's imagine card 0 is a FF and card 1 is my budget, both sharing the connection to my disecq. Because I use the audio out of my FF card connected to audio in of my soundcard (radio channel without xine) I have changed in device.c the pri in order to first use FF cards. In order to test a new patch for linux-dvb I set the CA of HDTV channels to be on the budget card (it's not necessary as I use xine to do the decoding).
I am only able to tune to those HDTV channels if I first tune to a non HDTV channel on the same transponder.
Are the disecq/transponder change not transmitted from the budget through the FF card to the dishes ?
Thank you,

Both cards send the signals for the disecq/transponder change. As your problem sounds strange, I ask you to try the new logging function of the LNB-sharing patch for vdr 1.3.33. Turn it on, and grep syslog for "LNB" afterwards.

Without changing the pri in device.c to have first FF then budget card, and with a vanilla vdr-1.3.33 and only your patch I can't tune to most channels...
don't work : XXP;T-Systems:12633:hC56:S19.2E:22000:203:303=deu:503:0:12602:1:1113:0 ARTE;CANALSATELLITE:11568:vC56:S19.2E:22000:167:136=fra,137=deu:71:0:9019:1:1024:0 3sat;ZDFvision:11954:hC34:S19.2E:27500:210:220=deu,221=2ch;225=dd:230:0:28007:1:1079:0 Bayerisches FS;ARD:11837:hC34:S19.2E:27500:201:202=deu:204:0:28107:1:1101:0 RAI1;RAI:11766:vC23:S13.0E:27500:512:650=ita:576:0:3401:318:5200:0

And thanks to the new log function, I found out that it always want to use LNB 5 but I have only three cards and one pseudo-card (xine) :
LNB 5: Switching device 3 to channel 225 LNB 1: Request for channel 225 on device 0. MaxBadPriority is -2 LNB 2: Request for channel 225 on device 1. MaxBadPriority is -2 LNB 1: Request for channel 225 on device 2. MaxBadPriority is -2 LNB 1: Switching device 2 to channel 225 LNB 5: Request for channel 152 on device 3. MaxBadPriority is -2 LNB 5: Device check for for channel 152 on device 3. OK LNB 5: Switching device 3 to channel 152 LNB 1: Request for channel 152 on device 0. MaxBadPriority is -2 LNB 2: Request for channel 152 on device 1. MaxBadPriority is -2 LNB 1: Request for channel 152 on device 2. MaxBadPriority is -2 LNB 1: Switching device 2 to channel 152
Which was with :
LNB-sharing: setting device 0 to use LNB 1 LNB-sharing: setting device 1 to use LNB 2 LNB-sharing: setting device 2 to use LNB 2 LNB-sharing: setting device 3 to use LNB 3
Setting to this :
LNB-sharing: setting device 0 to use LNB 1 LNB-sharing: setting device 1 to use LNB 2 LNB-sharing: setting device 2 to use LNB 2 LNB-sharing: setting device 3 to use LNB 1
And I can switch to any channels I want. So I am sorry for the wrong bug repport, which was in fact only a bad settings as I though I could put anything for a non existent device.
Thank for this great patch !
