Hello,
With 1.7.38, when viewing a channel that has teletext, it seems that the disk is accessed and timestamps of the stored *.vtx files change all the time.
I happened to notice this from the HDD LED of my VDR box that now blinks all the time when viewing such a channel. I don't think this happened with VDR 1.7.31 but I have no trivially easy way to downgrade and check it at the moment. It's definitely the osdteletext plugin; disabling it makes the disk accesses go away.
Can someone confirm and/or have ideas what might be causing this and if the osdteletext plugin needs some adjustments to behave properly with new VDR versions?

IMHO normal behavior ever of that plugin.
Most of us just put that data onto a "RAM disk" (tmpfs), whereas teletext data is nothing what need to be saved at shutdown, it's just runtime data ...
=== Kind regards fnu

I'm sure I would have been annoyed and done that too already a long time ago if the plugin had been behaving like it does now on my system, the HDD LED blinking when nothing's actually going can't really go unnoticed.
