Hello Klaus,
please try:
- "pause" the live picture - view the recording by pressing "play" - press "exit" to stop viewing (OSD shows the recording list) - delete the live recording -> 2 x "OK" -> the timer is stoping - press "exit" to go to the main menu, you will still see the option to stop the recording, but this is allready stopped
regards Alfred

Well, this has been reported seevral times, and every time I thought "it's just a minor quirk" - but apparently it is quite important... ;-)
Actually I tend to simply remove this menu entry altogether, which would implicitly "cure" this...

Sorry, this is a general problem with nested OSD pages: The parent page will not be updated if the sub-page changes data which should be displayed on the parent page.
For example: - open schedule - select a programme and press record - confirm the timer - there is no timer mark in the schedule menu until you close and re-open it. :-(

Oh no, I would really miss it. Stopping a live recording would then require to enter the timer or recordings menu, browse to this recording and delete it. This takes far too much keypresses, especially when one has many recordings.

Well, in the Timers menu the currently recording timers are at the top of the list, and if you (like I) have a hotkey for the timer list ("Blue" in my case), then it's the same number of keypresses:
Main menu method: Menu - Right - Ok - Ok Timer menu ethod: Blue - Yellow - Ok - Menu
The last "Menu" press in the second method closes the Timers menu, while the main menu is closed automatically when stopping an instant recording. BTW: if you have more than one instant recording that you want to stop, the Timers menu method has definitely fewer keypresses.

OK you've won. I didn't know that active timers are at the top of the list. This behaviour would also be nice for the recordingslist. S.
