Hi,
I am using VDR-1.4.1-1 with mplayer-plugin 0.9.15pre10. The primary card is a FF card (Hauppauge Rev 1.3). The CPU is an Athlon 2000+, with 512Mb of RAM.
I can read most video files, but some don't work.The screen stays black during a few seconds, then the live TV program is displayed again.
I have enabled the DEBUG option of the plugin, and here is the log :

You should look at the console output which includes original mplayer output as well.

Thanks, now the error message appears : DVB: height=384 not supported (try 240/480 (ntsc) or 288/576 (pal)
It seems that the plug-in tries to expand the format to 352/384, but the DVB card does not support the new format. Here is the whole log :

Well, actualy it's the mplayer.sh script which fails here. The plugin only calls the script.

Sorry, I thought that mplayer.sh was part of the mplayer plug-in project. I have contacted the author of mplayer.sh, and he solved my problem by suggesting to set the TV_ASPECT to the value 4/3 instead of 16/9.
