while developing vdr-xine, it seems that there is a deadlock situation in libasound.

How can I make use of the alsa-debuginfo package?

At the moment I run xine and when the deadlock happens, I start ddd and attach to that process. xine is at that time stuck in opening the audio device. The issue may be dmix related.
