Your CAM has to be plugged into a CI (Common Interface).

If not, you have to buy a card that has a CI-connector (like e.g. TechnoTrend TT-budget T-1500) or built-in CI.

DVB-T? Available? Affordable? Supported? Let's do some research first before jumping to conclusions.

As I understand it the CAM goes into a CI. The CI has a 68-pin PCMCIA interface. What cable do I need from this PCMCIA interface to the Terratec?

IIRC Terratec 1200 and KNC1 cards are of similar design, so this might be the CI module that works with your card:
