The problem is the playback stopps after fwd/rev the osd shows wrong position and sometimes the frontend vdr-sxfe hangs. Tested with recordings from german pro Sieben. The problem doesn't occour with old pes recordings.
Q: can someone reproduce the problem? Maybe it's related to my setup. I am using unpatched versions of vdr and xineliboutput! xineliboutput is the git version from vdr-developer (today's checkout).

Do you use vdpau? I have got similar reports which only appear with vdpau and h264. There is no problem when using ffmpeg as decoder. It looks like vdpau h264 decoder leaks some images.

No, I have used xv output with standard mpeg2 channels. BTW.: it seems that pes recordings have the same problem but they don't occour allways. It's not only a problem of ts recordings.

Did you try vdr-xine instead of xineliboutput?

Please try the newest hg xine-lib-1.2 tree. There has been some recent work to fix these problems.
