Hi,
I'm using iptv 0.2.1 with vdr 0.1.7 to view NASA TV on a technotrend ff card.
The displayed picture occupies only the top left ¼ of the screen. My objective is to get it full screen.
I have tried scaling it in the iptvscreen.sh script in the vlc call but this asks too much of the processor and things get very jerky.
I believe that the ff card is capable of scaling in hardware. Any idea how I can get it to do this for an iptv stream?
Thanks,
Mark.

Hi Mark,
i had the same problem. the solution is to resize the video to one of the following resolutions: 352 x 288 480 × 576 544 × 576
take the one which is nearest to the original resolution of your stream.
these are resolutions which the hardware scaler of the FF accepts.
