Looks like the smart phrase can be applied here as well: If you want something to be done right, do it yourself :)

I'll take a look at it in the driver after I'll finish with my VDR main wish list... I think I saw in driver code that device returns SNR and BER in some places...

xmlscan shows for example

IIRC SNR with the STB0899 had been working with the multiproto tree. Regarding the (MB86A16) 1034 has a properly graduated scaling in decibels as it is in my repository. Don't know what's broken elsewhere.
