Image display during mp3 replay / DeviceStillPicture

Hello, I want to display various (cover) images in Muggle during music replay. Thus, the background image displayed using DeviceStillPicture needs to be changed during replay. The code I use is from the background cover patch for the mp3 plugin. It works fine, but the music replay is interrupted for a short period when the image changes. Hi, i installed vdr-1.3.33, analogtv-0.9.37 and xine-0.7.6. I have a Hauppauge PVR350. I edited /video/channels.conf to have a single entry: S 25:335250:C0D45B6:C:0:301:300:0:A0:12003:0:0:0 vdr complained if the 10th entry was 0, so i added another value. I also installed "mp1e" from the analogtv homepage, it is in rte-09sep04.tar.bz2. I thought this one should match the analogtv plugin. There were no newer versions available. Different between '#define MAXOSDAREAS 16' and '#define MAXNUMWINDOWS 7'

Hello, why is "#define MAXNUMWINDOWS 7" defined in dvbosd.c and "#define MAXOSDAREAS 16" in osd.h ? Its not the same and only 7 areas possible to create ?? Its a limit to the OSD/card ? Thanks Stefan Franz

Interactive plugins and MENUTIMEOUT since 1.3.32

Hello List, in 1.3.32 the timeout of the menu is now handled in the main loop (vdr.c). this causes some plugins (in this case: channelscan) to be closed after MENUTIMEOUT what is sometimes not wanted... One way would be to make LastActivity global and update it in the plugin, another way would be to introduce a variable e.g. "AutoCloseMenu" in cOsdObject... Is there an "intended" way to suppress this behaviour? Any suggestions? regards, Thiemo

skincurses doesn't work

Hello, How can I use the skincurses plugin? The plugin compiles fine but I get no OSD drawn to the console (neither over a ssh connection nor directly on the console of my vdr server). Do I have to activate this plugin somehow? My setup is a epia-m w/ ff-dvb-s card. no tv connected. freshly installed gentoo linux (but with ncurses installed). latest VDR (1.3.33) and kernel-2.6.12-r10 Thanks, Thomas

only the first 9 lines from commands.conf can be linked from keymacros.conf

I have in keymacros.conf Red Recordings #Green Schedule Green Commands 5 Yellow Commands 3 #Blue Timers Blue Commands 4 User1 Commands 6 User2 Commands 7 User3 Commands 8 User4 Commands 9 #User5 Commands 10 #User6 Commands 11 #User7 Commands 12 I would like to use the last 3 lines as well, but then vdr doesn't start. Obviously only keys 1-9 are accepted, but not 10-12. Is there a solution? Jörg

Hi Klaus, I've tracked down a nasty "Error while accessing recording!" / "Fehler beim Ansprechen der Aufzeichnung!" OSD message, occurring sometimes when deleting recordings in sub folders. This only occurs if the deleted file was the first one that was added to that sub folder - and maybe some other conditions. Hi, retuning on coderateL change, comes here in Berlin quite often. The attached diff fixes that. It could be that this is an error on provider side, but usual set top boxes don't show this behavior.
