How to get a notification of a completed transponder scan?

Currently both the channelscan and the actuator plugin offer an option to scan a complete satellite by tuning to each transponder and then waiting for 10 seconds. Is it possible to get a notification when all of the transponder data has been received? (I's assume it'd take less than 10 seconds, so a complete satellite scan should be noticeably faster). vdr-xine: is this code thread safe?

Hi, while facing deadlocks in xine I've written an emulation of an recursive mutex, as xine cannot use non posix extensions to be portable. The code below seems to work but are there any errors left? Hi, thanks to the work of Udo Richter I may announce you a preview version of the osdteletext plugin. This version features an extensive rewrite of the display code. This makes the display substantially faster and offers a clean architecture for future development. Additionally, it aims at strict adherence to the standard. Hello, just done a small try to convert an Euro1080 FTA preview to mpeg4, with a bitrate of 2500 with mencoder : quality was very bad... Anyone already converted (and keeping the resolution) HDTV with a perfect quality to mpeg4 ?
