multiple soundtracks

Hi list. Since Klaus added the multiple sound stream feature i've not been able to use that for channels at Thor, mostly Canal+ distributed stuff. I have an example, Disney now have a new channel called Toon Disney. The attached file hangs vdr >= 1.3.25 when I press the info button on the recording. The file was created by and works fine with vdr < 1.3.25. Carsten. "Lola rennt" Fernsehfilm D 1998 Berlin. Jetzt. Aspect Ratio problems

The majority of transmissions by my cable provider are 16:9 and I have this set in the DVB option, however we do get 4:3 transmissions and although the details are in the stream (as shown by femon) the picture remains as set in DVB option. My TV can detect different formats however the FF card always outputs 16:9 (as setup). Can vdr be made to switch the output based upon the stream rather than as setup in DVB option or does this have major implications? Thanks for all your hard work it really … [View More]

mplayer slave mute won't toggle

Hi y'all. I'm using the mplayer plugin with my Nova-t card, using gl2 output rather than mpegpes since the card doesn't have a video out. Everything works just fine with the mplayer slave, I can FF, REW, Pause, Stop, play and MUTE - but can't toggle the MUTE off. MUTE seems to mute the system sound and the only way I can un-mute is to open Volume Control on X and un-mute the PCM control. Mute works fine under VDR, it's just the mplayer slave that's not toggling off. Any ideas?

mp3 plugin - other image locations

Hi. I'd like to use the MP3 plugin to convert and play a random slideshow of my personal photos when switching tracks, rather than the usual cover/artist/background images. How can I do this? For the radio plugin I cron a bash script which randomly chooses a file to convert. This is also a bit hit and miss - but still better than NO SIGNAL, Black, or the same image over and over. Hi, I have a problem with some D+ channels, that the second audio pid disappears after autopid. Usually if I want to see/record a movie with original track (not Spanish) I have to turn off autopid - although I'd like to keep it on for other channels. So, a feature to "lock" pids for a specific channel would be awesome. Or even better, why VDR doesn't find (actually loses) some pid's that are available. Hello, there is a new version of the pvrinput plugin available: http://home.arcor.de/andreas.regel/files/pvrinput/vdr-pvrinput-0.0.6.tgz Changes since 0.0.5: - Added setting of vbi teletext mode. Now it should work again with 0.2 and 0.3 drivers. - Removed dependency from libdvb from makefile. - Added a small OSD window for setting up the picture parameters (brightness, contrast, saturation, hue).
