change make install to be really useful

Hi there! I now switched the ebuilds to use make install. But for that to work I needed to modify the Makefile. install-i18n.diff Lets install target call install-i18n target. makefile-destdir.diff: It add variable DESTDIR to makefile to install under $(DESTDIR) instead of / It also adds variable CONFDIR (by default identical to $(VIDEODIR)) to be able to set it to different value. Additionally it installs svdrpsend.pl makefile-install-header.diff: It adds an install-header target which is also called by target install. This installs the header files and Make.config to $(HEADERDIR) (should that be changed to INCDIR ?) to be able to compile plugins against the installed vdr without the need to keep vdr sources. Plugin to play streaming video

I am looking for a plugin to play steaming video from the net, and specifically at the moment NASA TV. I have the MP3/Mplayer plugin installed, and also played with the VOD plugin about a year ago, but still can't work out how to achieve what I want. Any help would be much appreciated. Hello, As you all might have guessed, we have some more broken plugins (mainly due to the i18n changes and some from OSDLanguage being changed from an integer to a string). *** failed plugins: autotimeredit burn dvd epgsearch skinenigmang text2skin undelete Can anyone help resolve these? Make.config options for vdr-1.5.7

EPG - info - length

Hi! Have anybody noticed, but atleast here in Finland, EPG information (the text what tells f.ex. what tells about movie) is so long that it's "cut short" from middle of world, most of time. Is because the string in VDR what holds that information is too short or...? -- JJussi

Hi list, For all the version junkies out there, here is proxy plugin version 0.1.3, with full support for VDR 1.5.7 and its new i18n system. Also fixed: Proxify the WakeupTime() call of VDR 1.5.1. This version is fully backwards compatible, though it requires gettext support to compile on all VDR versions. [ANNOUNCE] vdr-actuator-1.0.5 plugin

Hello, I'm releasing version 1.0.5 of the "actuator" plugin available at http://www.ventoso.org/luca/vdr/ This plugin controls a linear actuator (or an horizon to horizon one) through the parallel port with a simple circuit. CHANGES: - Updated russian translation from Vladimir Monchenko <bob at globall ru> - Compatibility defines in module.c and remove patches I'm releasing it before the necessary conversion of the translations for vdr-1.5.7, so I think this is the last release supporting stable vdr (1.4.x).
