Can't get lock on BBC news

Hi, freesat: Can't get a lock on BBC News 24 since yesterday is it just me? I have also lost the channel 4 group of channels although femon reports lock. Have these channels changed their transponder (again)? Cheers Tony --

Any chance of having an upgrade to multiproto_plus tree ? I understand that multiproto_plus is the _only_ tree sanctioned by Klaus.

xineliboutput, libextract and Media Player

Loaded latest xineliboutput from cvs, compiled and installed, it did complain about old libextract, says that 0.5.20 is needed, xbuntu has 0.5.18, might this be the reason for not working dvd subtitle menus in Media Player ? I would need to rape Xbuntu distro then and insert libextract from Debian Lenny or Sid.

Sequential or random play?

Hi! Is there an easy way to add sequential or even random playback to VDR? I have a lot of children's programs stored, for example 52 episodes of "Peppa Pig". :) The episodes are only 5 minutes each, so now I have to interrupt my serious work (IRC :) ) every 5 minutes to start a new episode, to keep the kids quiet for a while. :) The recordings-listing doesn't have many buttons assigned for directories, only "Open".. There could be a command to playback entire directory, perhaps with some "bookmark" feature so it starts from the episode that was previously played back. -- Teemu Suikki http://www.z-power.fi/

Finnish DVB-C channel "Nelonen HD" - h264

Hi! I have vdr-1.7.0 installed and when I tune to that "Nelonen HD" channel, I get very disordered picture and sound. And lot's of errors. Problems with AlphaCrypt Light CAM and VDR 1.6.0 (and p1)

Hello everyone. Ever since I've upgraded from vdr 1.4.7 to vdr 1.6.0 (incl. p1), I have run into the following problems: Jul 6 19:03:42 dvb_ca adapter 0: CAM tried to send a buffer larger than the link buffer size (192 > 128)! Jul 6 19:03:42 vdr: [3140] ERROR: can't write to CI adapter on device 0: Input/output error Jul 6 19:03:42 dvb_ca adapter 0: CAM tried to send a buffer larger than the ecount size! Jul 6 19:03:42 dvb_ca adapter 0: DVB CAM link initialisation failed :( Jul 6 19:03:42 vdr: [3140] ERROR: can't write to CI adapter on device 0: Invalid argument Usually the CAM stops decrypting until I restart vdr. I have already searched around and figured that I am not the only one having those problems but no one really has come up with any solution so far. One possible fix mentioned is to bind the vdr process to one cpu core- done that, doesn't help. :-( Things worked just fine with vdr 1.4.7 so it has to be a regression. I have attached some gathered informations about my system that may hopefully be of any help. By the way I am using a KNC1 DVB-C card with Cineview and an AlphaCrypt Light CAM.
