Any reason the remotetimers plugin is not part of e-tobi.net ?

Choice of recording format

I was just wondering what prompted the move from recording in PES to TS. Is it because TS is more widely supported? And how does it solve the problem of BBC HD having the wrong PID for audio? And why TS instead of PS? Is it because PS needs a header which is difficult to generate before all the packets intended for it are available (and hence difficulties overlapping playback and recording)? Hi, since most part of applications use an "About" or "Info" option in the main menu to show the contributors for translation and developers i wanted to know if there is a plugin that once selected can show the contributors of the installed plugins. I know the each plugin has a different way to keep the maintained contributor (HISTORY, README, CONTRIBUTORS files) but sometimes is invisible for most part of users that simply install from the binary packages. Color keys replacement

Hi all, A question regarding the color keys functionality in VDR. Some remotes I see in shops don't have the color keys, is there any replacement key for those? Is it possible to map them to 1,2,3,4? Can you think of a scenario both color keys and numbers might be used in the same menu? Thanks.

Hi, there seems to be problem in pausing replays of new recordings (output to FF). 4 out of 5 times vdr freezes when trying to continue the replay. Poll in PlayVideo runs into a timeout and a new write gives EAGAIN. This does not happen with old recordings. Most likely splitting long PES-packets not on frame-boundaries prevents the FF-driver from finding a good start-point after DvbDevice->Freeze().
