maybe an new function for flexible ordner of colour keys on OSD?

Hello Klaus, on most RCs the order of the color keys are: red - green - yellow - blue. I own a RC with the order: red - yellow - blue - green. So every time I switch to a new version of vdr, I have to change the order of the color keys, because the OSD differs with my RC. I think I'm not the only one with this problem. Is it possible to get a new function for the next release in Setup - OSD? I think of something like: first color key = red second color key = yellow and so on for the four color keys. default is red, green, yellow, blue. Have a nice weekend Sven

German translation for "Plugin"

Dear developers, I recommend changing the translation for "Plugin" in the German language file to a more non-technical term. I suggest "Erweiterung" instead of "Plugin". This helps even non-technical experienced users of VDR to understand what to expect. Please find a corresponding patch attached. -- Best Regards, Joachim.

Hello all, I wonder if anybody here is using IR receiver that is connected to the PC with 9-pin serial cable and is able to wake the machine from suspend mode? Thanks.

Q: How to use Multiswitch w/ 2 satellites

Hi, at the moment I use 2 satellites (Astra1 @ 19.2E, Hotbird @ 13.0E) with 3 budget cards and cables (2x Astra from a quad LNB, 1x Hotbird from a single) with the capabilities patch. In the future I may need to cut down the 3 to 2 cards / cables. I know I will need to replace the quad LNB by a quattro, or maybe both LNBs by two duals. The question is, how can I use a 3/2 multiswitch, and how will VDR know where the 13.0E programs are, or the 19.2E, respectively. TIA! -- Real Programmers don't play tennis, or any other sport that requires you to change clothes. Mountain climbing is OK, and real programmers wear their climbing boots to work in case a mountain should suddenly spring up in the middle of the machine room.

Everything seems to work ok and I think frontend 0 is the one that's only used for recording, frontend 1 is the one with the CI and which supplies the image (two FF DVB-c cards in use (does anyone still use those?)). Anyway, should I worry and/or is this something I could "fix" by upgrading something? BTW, here is a quick and ugly hack to get streamdev to compile with 1.7.3. http://users.utu.fi/mijutu/digitv/vdr/streamdev-pes_commented_out_for_vdr-1… This is not worth merging anywhere, but works if you want to try to record with 1.7.3 in a computer without actual dvb adapters.
