frequent xine crashes with vdr

I start vdr and xine and all looks nicely and I zap channels a couple of times without problems and the 3rd time or so xine freezes and I need to restart it It used to work fine, only 3 things have changed: 64 bits os instead of 32, a newer kernel, and using the kernel´s driver for my card (S2-HD-NOVA) instead of the liaplin´s ones Could someone point out what is the likely culprit? Primary Device

Hi Folks, i have a question: What is the primary device. I have the following devices: - xineliboutput or PVR350 - pvrinput-device None of the devices can do both, receive and showing a stream . Which of the devices is the primary device. How is the primary device determined ? Regards, Rainer

I have tried --buffers=5 value, but it didn't help.. (With lower value I cannot see any picture) So, nobody have any real clue what's wrong and how to fix it.. Yes, I have same symptoms, no vdpau here. I put it down to the client clearing through its buffer, but that's just a guess. Hi! I have vdr (1.7.14/1.7.14) - The Video Disk Recorder skinsoppalusikka (1.7.1) - Soppalusikka skin xineliboutput (1.0.90-cvs) - X11/xine-lib output plugin problem is when I'm watching recording and press 'pause' -key, playback is paused for about 1/10:th of second, then it countinues about 2-3 seconds before pausing totally. Hi, Does anyone have a working setup involving vdr-1.7.15 and softdevice? I ask because I've been happily using vdr-1.7.0 (the one just before changing the DVB driver version) with softdevice since vdr-1.7.0 was released. I finally took the plunge and built the new DVB drivers and grabbed the latest version of vdr and this also includes the changes from PES to TS. I have have witness the same behavior with screen blinking with xineliboutput (vdr-sxfe as remote client while connecting with TCP transport to the vdr-server) when changing the channels. I often get screen blinking when I change the channels to fast with my MCE remote (using the MCE remote arrows up and down for browsing through the channels). Radio playback with VDR 1.7.15

Hi all, anybody else having problems to playback radio streams with VDR 1.7.15 and DVB-S as source? VDR messages in syslog look okay but neither recording nor playing works for me. I do not have any problems with TV (including HD). Best regards, Stephan
