epgsearch plugin memory leak

Hi, [ Apologies for using this list - the epgsearch bugtracker is broken ] I've been tracking down memory leaks on my server and narrowed down a significant leak in the epgsearch plugin Approx 500 megs / week is lost - recovered by restarting vdr. I'd like to reduce this obviously. I updated from 0.9.24 to 0.9.25 beta 22 from git as a fix for a memory leak was mentioned in the changelog, but the leak is still about the same. If I remove the plugin from the command line, there is no significant leak. Attached plot shows. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks Richard

Can' read mkv with vdr-1.7.18 + mplayer + TT S2-6400 !

Hello, Since I have upgraded my hardware from "TT Nexus" to "TT S2-6400", I can't read any mkv file anymore from my vdr-1.7.18 and MPlayer. It seems that VDR can't share the device. This limitation is very very annoying : Is there any patch for VDR and/or for MPlayer ? Do you know any workaround or any other solution ? Regards. This issue have been fixed. Vnsi server developer Pipelka add a fix to the vnsi server plugin. Anyone who experience issue with aac latm should compile an updated version from the git. Thanks for all the help I've received from Klaus, Pipelka and the kind people here. Regards, Barak.

After allot of help from Klaus to understand what was wrong i got a big break. Recording works in vdr with no issue at all, the recording do contain the aac-latm audio. After updating the vnsi server to last git and xbmc to last preEden build by Lars Op den Kamp all the channel watchable but still no audio. I'm no developer but i can read, on xbmc display it show that the audio is mpeg2 (which is not) and on the vnsi server code it's seems that the default is mpeg2audio. So i decided to force vnsi server to use the aac demuxer when mpeg2 audio is found, and at last i got audio working. I've posted an issue on vnsi-server github with more info about it https://github.com/pipelka/vdr-plugin-vnsiserver/issues/18 As you can read this in the issue i'm not sure where the problem or how vdr and it's plugin system works. It can be on the vnsi server plugin as it may can't recognize the aac-latm within the stream. It can be on vdr side if vdr tells vnsi server that the audio is encoded as mpeg2. Finaly it can be the trasport stream itself that misconfigured and have some marker indicate the audio as mpeg2. MaxVideoFileSize

Apart from FAT16/FAT32/ISO 9660 compatibility reasons, are there any benefits to keeping MaxVideoFileSize for recordings at <= 2GB? I was considering setting it to something arbitrarily larger such as 16GB but just wondered if I was causing any unexpected side effects.

Now xine isn't tuning into the HD channels again either. Maybe it's a problem with the transmitter, but I'm thinking that the DVB userspace doesn't have enough support for DVB-T2 yet. Cheers, Chris
