vdr-filemanager plugin not compiling

Hi Mr.Tux, I have tried your how-to but I could not start the vdr. Each of those packages carry the {u} marker, so they should be replaced by other packages, and are no longer in use. Please do yourself a favour and backup important data anyway before you setup a build environment. Question to --edit mode

Hello, I tried the usage of vdr with the --edit parameter and the habbit of vdr looks a bit strange to me: When i use only the --edit parameter, vdr will fail and the log claims, that the given recording is not found below the default video-dir (/var/lib/video.00). When I use vdr with a video-dir not contained in the path of the recording, the same happens. So to cut a recording, I need to use --edit='/path/to/recording' and -v path (with path being a part of '/path/to/recording') which I think is quite a bit of redundant. What about the situation, where the recording is on a read-only mounted drive and the video-dir given by -v option is the path to a local writable directory? Is it really necessary, that source-recording and target-recording are on the same path? Is it very expensive to support different write location than the read location? kind regards Gero

New version of the Webvideo plugin is available at http://users.tkk.fi/~aajanki/vdr/webvideo/ Webvideo is a VDR plugin for downloading videos from popular video sharing webvites such as YouTube. With the help of xineliboutput plugin the videos can be played directly in VDR without downloading them first. Changes: 2010-08-26: Version 0.3.2 - Plugin: Possibility to run a script after downloading. - New video service: MoonTV (contributed by Matti Lehtimäki). - ruutu.fi uses rtmpe for some videos. - Stream low bandwidth Youtube videos by default (configurable in /etc/webvi.conf) - Fixed Google video module. - Disabled ruutu.fi search which is not working.
