Hi, I am using vdr 1.7.14. I cannot see an OSD menu when using the vdr-sxfe client. Am I missing a plugin? If so, which one. Kind Regards James

Order of adapters

Hi! This is maybe more Linux question than VDR... I have 3xPCI-DVB adapters and 1xUSB-DVB adapter. Where I can see what /dev/dvb/adapterX is connected to which physical devices.. And how I can made so that USB-adapter is (always) last in line... adapter3 OR VDR uses that adapter as a last resource! -- JJussi

Filter filler-nalus in h264 recordings?

Hi, I read that there are often filler-nalu bytes in h264 streams. Would it be possible to filter those filler-nalus and not to same them on hdd when recording a h264 stream? Or would this corrupt the stream? kind regards Newspaperman

Ubuntu 10.04 + vdr-plugin-xineliboutput + vdr-1.7.10

Hi! I know this is not directly this lists problem.. But probably right people read this list. I just upgraded to ubuntu 10.04 and run problem with vdr-plugin-xineliboutput package. It depency says that vdr-abi-1.6.debian is required and I'm using vdr-1.7.10. Is there something what I could tweak to get around this problem? -- JJussi

vdr and aac support

Hi! there are some channels using aac for audio. I.e. SABC1 at 23.5°East 10758 V 22000 8/9 DVB-S2 Seems vdr doesn't support aac as no pid is entered neither for apid nor for ddpid. I think xine should support acc or doesn't it? So it should be no big deal do extend vdr to support aac. kind regards Newspaperman

When using local playback I get these messages in the vdr log output, and I get no picture. If I use remote playback to a vdr-sxfe instance on the same machine, everything displays ok. Fix mplayer plugin for skip (prev/next) track..?

Hi. We need to be able to skip Prev and Next track with the mplayer plugin when playing a playlist. VDR 1.7 branch and xineliboutput (on Gentoo)

Hi, I don't seem to get vdr-xineliboutput working at all on Gentoo. I used to have vdr-1.6 branch with xineliboutput. Live TV was OK, but recordings were just unwatchable (vdr-sxfe losing the connection all the time, rewinding being a PITA etc..). So, I've used Mplayer to play those, and VDR just as a recording server. But this was very annoying, so I decided to upgrade to vdr-1.7 and try the vdr-xineliboutput cvs plugin, to see if it would work better. (I'm an ATI user, but judging from the symptoms, I suspect there was something very wrong with my installation, not jsut ATI-related problems). But, now, I don't get a connection to the vdr-xineliboutput server at all! I just get the "No Signal" picture. Has anyonve on Gentoo got this working? I'm using the vdr-devel repository in addition to stock portage. I have installed: vdr-1.7.14-r1 (from vdr-devel) xine-lib-1.1.18.1 vdr-xineliboutput-9999 (the CVS ebuild from Gentoo portage). I see the bug report at <http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=296042>. But it is inclear to me whether the ebuild in portage is updated or not... I will compare and see of course, but decided to post here to get some input from fellow users =) Here's vdr-sxfe output.
