Problem: Conax not available after VDR startup

I have a problem with my VDR setup. VDR does not see my Conax cam after a (VDR) restart. It is not possible to watch encrypted channels after the restart (channel not available), and VDR does not continue timer on an encrypted channel. VDR does detect Conax after some time, and then the timer continues to record and it is possible to switch to an encrypted channel on a live view, but the time before this happens can be annoyingly long. Content Descriptor

Reading thru Nordig spefification for DVB, it seems that it is obligatory to send Content Descriptor. It would be nice use that for something. A beginning would be just to log the state of content-descriptor to a log to see if it were usefull. vdr slowness when browsing channels

Hi, I notice that vdr is slow when i try to quickly browse channels. it eats around 18-20% of the cpu (atlon1200) when i hold left or right key when browsing channels (vdr 1.3.27 vanilla - classic skin) . With text2skin (1.0) and Enigma, it eats around 40-50% of the cpu and browsing channels is very very slow ... Note: cat channels.conf | wc -l --> 2600 lines Thank you. Problem with cChannel's copy constructor

Hi, I just ran into a problem with cChannel's copy constructor. The problem is that this is actually not a copy constructor, because it sets the values to 0 instead of copying, and - most important - it behaves different from operator=. It seems these two are not used in VDR except for one place (where I found this), cSectionHandler::SetChannel. The value stored by cSectionHandle has nid,tid,sid set to 0.
