burn bug?

Hi all, I have compiled the plugin correctly but when I try to use it fails. In dvd.log I see: Parameter validation not complete yet Initialising and analysing the streams.... Can not open /video/Passatgers/2005-09-08.22:00.99.99.rec001.vdr: File not exists The correct file is /video/Passatgers/2005-09-08.22:00.99.99.rec/001.vdr Note the slash between .rec and 001 I supose it's a bug but I don't know where can I solve it. vdrburn.sh? Another question about vdr-burn. I have searched it but I see a lot of info in german, and not understand it. Is possible to burn a dvd-rw without have formatted it before? the plugin format the dvd or I have to use a blank dvd? Thank you.

GraphLCD logonames.alias file

Hello all, I've juste install a Datavision LCD in my VDRBox (works great) ans install the GraphLCD (works great too by the way!) But I can't figure out how to make my own logonames.alias file, with french channels... I've found the glcd logos, but as the channels are not in the logonames.alias file, they aren't shown! Can anybody explain me how to make this file? Thanks by advance Sad

burn plugin compilation

Hi!, I'm trying to compile the vdr-burn plugin 0.0.5 with vdr-1.3.31 and get this error: In file included from ../../../include/vdr/config.h:19, from vdr_compat.h:11, from menuburn.h:12, from burn.c:11: ../../../include/vdr/device.h:65: error: multiple definition of `enum eTrackType' common.h:70: error: previous definition here make[1]: *** [burn.o] Error 1 I don't found any patch and it seems that exists a vdr-burn 0.0.6 version but.. where can I download it? Is compatible vdr-burn plugin with vdr-1.3.31? I'm searched the mail archive but I don't found any solution. Sorry if this question has been already solved here. Thank you

Bug: vdr-1.3.32 & @plugin key macros

Hi, just noticed that key macros defined in keymacros.conf don't work anymore for plugins. All additional keys vanishes somehow, i.e. the followings macros have exactly the same behaviour: User1 @epgsearch Yellow Ok User2 @epgsearch I haven't tested this with vanilla VDR, but there were key macro code changes in 1.3.32, and the key macros containing multiple keys using only VDR's core features still work nicely. no useful data seen

Hi!, I'm having problems with some recordings. I don't know the reason because it appears with two recordings at same time but with a single recording too. The error i get is: ERROR: no useful data seen within 10496228 byte of video stream Anyone know what could be the problem? I have two cards: 1 FF nexus-s 1 budget dvb-t cinergy I think the cards use the same firmware. For my experience I think I get crash with dvb-s recordings, all from encrypted channels. I'm using vdr 1.3.31 and have the same problem with 1.3.22 I don't know what can I try to solve the problem. Thank you. Leo

Hi, here is a new release of the GraphLCD base package and plugin for VDR. You can download the packages from the berlios project's file page: http://developer.berlios.de/project/showfiles.php?group_id=3566 Changes since 0.1.2-pre6: graphlcd-base: - glcddrivers: ks0108: Improved timings: Made setting of display control lines like defined in the controller's data sheet. This fixes problems with some display types. Thanks to Matthias Breitbach for providing a LCD of that type. - glcddrivers: gu256x64-3900: - Corrected calculation of m_nTimingAdjustCmd. - Added a test for RefreshDisplay config value to prevent a floating point exception to occur when it is set to zero. vdr-graphlcd: - Fixed length of timebar in case event lasts longer. - Added a patch for VDR 1.3.29 and up that adds a new method Tick() to the cStatus class. This method is called from vdr's main task every second. The patch should apply to older versions too, maybe small changes are needed. - Now querying the replay state in the cStatus::Tick() method if available. - Now loading config file in cPluginGraphLCD::Initialize and not in ProcessArgs. So it is possible to view the help page without specifying config file and display. - Rearranged includes to prevent an compiler error regardings the swap function. - Added a check for EIT scanner activity in cGraphLCDState::ChannelSwitch function to prevent showing channel logos during replay. - Added a check for file extension in replay type identification (thanks to Andreas Brachold). - Added channel logos for Radio Eins (thanks to Andreas Brachold). For the next release I will concentrate on bringing skinning support to the plugin. I plan to use an modified and extended version of the text2skin file format for defining the layout. Andreas

Hi All, Is it possible to modify the timer to record E. G. series (weekly...)? Perhaps with a weekly flag in timers.conf. Vdr can check this and set automatically the next timer before deleting the old one. What do you think about this? Greetings Halim

[subtitles-plugin] Is it possible to change the PIDS in a recording on the fly?

Hi, I have been trying to modify the subtitles plugin to cope with the dynamic subtitling currently in use in Finland. But with no luck so far. I can record the subtitles if the stream with the right PID is already present when the recording starts, but not if the recording starts too early. What I have done so far is to modify the subtitles plugin to scan the stream for any other subtitles PID than the ones in the configuration file and return to the recorder three all PIDs corresponding to subtitles.Language, subtitles.Language2 and the one found in the scan (if present, 0 otherwise) instead of only the first two as it is currently done. But the scan fails to find any other streams if they are not present when the scan is executed, which is the time when the recording starts. I think that the only resolution would be to somehow add the new subtitle PID to the recording when it is noticed. This means that 1. The new PID should be noticed somehow, by the plugin or by VDR itself, that I don't know 2. The new PID should added to the recording, which I think means stopping and starting the recording again, right? So if anyone has any suggestions I would like to hear about them. Especially about a way to notice changes in the subtitling PIDs. In menu.c there is a function void cRecordControls::ChannelDataModified(cChannel *Channel). Could that be used? -Petri

Changing VDR directory structure

Hello, I am building a little video share system for VDR, it copies selected recording directories to a network drive. As some of you can guess, the problem is " : " -character at VDR directory structure. Samba filesystem doesn't accept it. So my question is that why it was chosen in the first place, and can it be changed to " ; " -character. Or any other than not allowed samba characters. Disallowed chars are at least: < > / \ : I don't see any benefit in VDR to be samba-incompatible. Of course why I ask here is instead of just patching my sharing VDRs. Because if new filename format is to be standardized for VDR usage, and probably VDR patch that it will accept both formats (with ";" and ":"). And it would help everyone sharing VDR-files with Windows machines. Best regards, Jori Ps. Or is there some other way round this limitation? I tried samba.conf global option "valid chars=\:" but it didn't help.
