The attached patch allows a VDR system with multiple cards to attach each card to an individual dish pointing at a different satellite. Updated suspend patch for vdr 1.3.32

Based on some helpful feedback from Klaus, I simplified my suspend patch. The interface to the solid-state relay will be moved to a separate plugin. There are so many ways to control relays from a PC that it is best to write plugins for relay interfaces as the need arises. Softdevice or Xine?

Hi, We've been happily using VDR with a video projector for almost a year now without any problems. The projector gets a s-video signal from VDR using one of those "add-on" cards that plug into the J2 connector. S-video gives an ok but kinda blurry image. Cleanup Thread (like .update)

Hi Klaus, Is there a possibility to implement the same way .update works a way to start the cleanup thread which is deleting the deleted recordings ? I'm usually low an diskspace and when try to free space for new recordings it takes mostly more than 5 minutes of an idle VDR to delete the recordings on the system. Sometimes 5 Minutes is too long :). Is this harcoded anywhere in the code ? Than it would be enough for me to shorten this amount of time. /hgm.bg

Wanted: Filesize of recordings available in skins

Hello @all, when showing the details of a recording, i'd like to know how much diskspace in MB is needed on my HD (e.g. sum of .vdr files). This size in MB is very useful when archiving some recordings on dvd or copying the data to another limited storage place. My questions to Klaus and Sascha or others that can be of help: 1. Hi, I got something I desperately need help with: I have got one FF card plus 3 Nova CI Budget Cards, usually using the latest driver, firmware and VDR versions. After having upgraded to Kernel 2.6.13, I get the dreaded "Video Data Stream Broken" error as soon as a recording starts. Feature request - 1.5x playback with sound

I've once asked about this from Klaus and he did not see this feasible at that time. If I remember correctly he thought that this would be something that should be done in the device itself. Well I was just watching a DVD with PowerDVD windows player and it has the ability to play back with 1.5x and 2.0x speeds with sound. Without changing the pitch. Hi, there are some points that I don´t like with the current implementation of radio channels: 1) I have sorted my channel list lately and have put the new German radio channels (BR, HR, WDR etc.) at the beginning of the channels.conf. But after an EPG scan, I got all those channels again and the end of the channels.conf, so that I have all of them twice.
