Hi, I'm trying to compile control-0.0.2a (last version I found) plugin for vdr 1.4.0 but I'm getting this message: Plugin control: ERROR: plugin control doesn't honor APIVERSION - not compiled! What should I do? Thanx! John.

limit simultaneous recordings per input?

Hi All, I've a VDR installation with 3 cards, and I want to limit maximum simultaneous recordings per card to 1 or 2. It is because with more recordings, my device goes instable. How should I do this? Thanks. John Anderson.

Problem with VPS

Hello all, I have set up a (recurring) VPS timer for "Harald Schmidt". This timer didn't record the show which was broadcasted on May 18th. Due to a 10 minute delay resulting from the 20:15 programme, ARD adjusted the start time of all following shows. This seems to have occured at 22:05, 2 seconds later vdr started to switch the timer for "Harald Schmidt" between the events for tonight and next week. With Suse 10.1 /dev/nvram is gone after every reboot. What´s the right way to create /dev/nvram under Suse 10.1? Jörg

SUSE 10.1 + VDR

Starting vdr under suse 10.1 gave me errors like: "error while loading shared libraries: libpthread.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" and "error while loading shared libraries: libdl.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory". The culprit seems to be "export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1" before the vdr call. Without "export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1" vdr starts fine. Jörg

stable version of ttpci firmware?

Can someone tell me which version of the ttpci firmware is considered to be the "stable" version? I know Dr. Werner has many test versions floating around, but sometimes I still get an intermittent arm crash once in a while and I would like to revert to the latest stable version that works with current HG dvb drivers.
