Signal level is fine on this channel, stream not broken. I use spdif out. Playback reopen error: CH2, No such file or directory - this is a not problem, it's present in vdr-1.6.2 logs too. Rest channels haven't this trouble.С уважением, I test 1.7.4 - 1.7.7, 1.7.0-1.7.3 not tested, 1.6.2 works fine. I think this trouble is related to the transition vdr from PES to TS... Dear list, does anyone know, how I can get the vdrdevel packages for Debian Sid/Unstable? I searched for »vdrdevel e-tobi sources.list sid«, but only found [1][2], where I did not get any information for vdrdevel on [1] and for Debian Sid on [2]. Can I simply use the packages for Lenny? I thought this was a VDR developers mailing list and not a ´how to tell o ther people how they should educate their kids´ I for one think is not helpful at all people posting here things like: ¨The Real Problem is that people are too lazy to educate their brats properly.¨ It does not help and it is getting a bit annoying, I don´t tell you how t o bring up your kids. [iptv] [input_vdr] No data in 8 seconds, queuing no signal image

Dear list, I am trying to set up IPTV for German public stations. They provide the multicast addresses [1]. I have to use the Hansenet ones. They also provide playlists for VLC and MPlayer [2]. I used VLC to watch some channels and that worked quite OK, if the modem has synced correctly(?), i. e. has a good connection. With VLC it stuttered every 5 seconds with some channels. I followed [3] and the README.Debian of the vdr-plugin-iptv package from [4]. xineliboutput/vdr-sxfe and lirc (vdr 1.7.5)

I'm getting xineliboutput with vdr-sxfe going after a few months successfully running xineui. So far so good, but some of my remote keys do not work. In particular the Backup key. For xineui I have this (which works) in my .lircrc begin remote = Hauppauge button = Back/Exit prog = xine repeat = 0 config = VDRBack end but I suppose "xine" is not the right value for vdr-sxfe ? I have tried vdr-sxfe and had a look in xine_frontend_lirc.c but I'm none the wiser. -- Scott

1.7.x seem to support pause live tv out of the box, I certainly have not applied any patches to make it happen, and unfortunately there is no option to turn it on and off as it would be best (Klaus, any chance to have pause live tv as a menu option that can be switched on or off?) removing the pause key from remote.conf is not a proper solution as when watching a recording I like to pause it sometimes. In truth is not only my kids that press the pause key but my wife or myself when using mplayer to watch an .avi file.
