eepg plugin with UK freeview (not freesat!) EPG

Does anyone know whether the eepg plugin should "just work" with the Huffman encoded EPG broadcast on Freeview (DVB-T) HD channels in the UK? (Someone mentioned it on here a week or so back.) I'm pretty sure the EPG data is encoded in exactly the same way as it is on Freesat, i.e. DVB-S, and eepg can decode that EPG. I noticed vdr 1.7.16 sometimes waits unusually long until a VPS timer set to "no event" is getting deleted. Mostly it works fine, meaning: vdr will delete no event timers after a few seconds or minutes. But there are the occassional oddities, where it takes more than an hour, which in return will cause the media center to stay on longer than necessary during overnight recordings. Hi All, I have installed VDR. It runs great, but it has one problem. It does not delete my old recordings. I have a lot of recordings, and they all have a lifetime of 0. Hi, I'l like to change the column-width on Channel-name in "What's on Now" menu. in menu.c there's a "Settabs" but changing do not affect the real Channel-Name widht

Blocking svdrp with epgsearch-1.0.0

Hi, when running vdr with the epgsearch-1.0.0-plugin, i wasn't able to add epgdata via the pute-svdrp-command anymore. The svdrp-client seems to "hang". With version epgsearch-0.9.25.beta17 there wasn't any problem. I can provide logs if someone tells me how. Regards, Rainer

Hi I have just installed vdrnfofs 0.8 and it works well. The vdrnfofs mount is served by miniDLNA and I have played back .ts recordings using WMP as a DLNA client. I could not play back .vdr files but I dont think this is a problem with vdrnfofs. Thanks

xineliboutput suspend + OSD HUD on SandyBridge

Hi, I have a new VDR+ server system, based on SandyBridge i3 CPU. This server is located under the TV set, thus mixes the server (always-on headless) + client (HD display) roles (previous setup was a Via EK8000 server + Via ML10000 client which ended up on the same shelf + another still-used client).
