DVB-T2 tuning

DVB-T2 tuning

> I'm not aware of any DVB-T2 specific code in VDR 1.7.x AFAIK, DVB-T2 at least needs support for QAM_256. I don't think the DVB-T tuner in VDR 1.6 supports anything better than QAM_64, so adding QAM_256 would definitely be a start. Cheers, Chris

ANNOUNCE vdr-ttxtsubs 0.2.4 for VDR 1.7.21

The changes: * Updated patch for VDR 1.7.21 (Closes #745) !!! With this release the channels.conf format has changed !!! !!! You may need to manually update your channels.conf !!! With VDR 1.7.21 the subtitle PIDs are stored in the channels.conf as an extension to the teletext PID (see vdr.5 for details). This change made it neccessary to change the extension of the tpid in channels.conf used by the ttxtsubs patch: old: ...:201;150=deu,151=fin:... new ...:201+150=deu,151=fin;2001,2002:... ...where 201 is the TPID, 150 and 151 are the teletext pages for the German and Finnish teletext subtitles and 2001,2002 are the DVB subtitle PIDs. Does somebody have a working vdr-ttxtsubs-0.2.3 patch for vdr-1.7.21? The one for 1.7.20 produces some .rej files under 1.7.21

Does VDR support overlapped recordings?

Does VDR know if two programs are located on the same transponder so that it can allow both programs to record at the same time? (this would also help when extending recording times by a minute or two and thus create overlapped recordings even though they are on the same channel or transponder)

[Announce] remotetimers-0.1.6

Hi guys, I just published remotetimers-0.1.6 at http://vdr.schmirler.de/. The new release fixes a crash when moving a local timer to the server and a bug in the menu after modifying priority, lifetime or user IDs of a TS recording. The plugin has also been adapted to VDR 1.7.21 (not heavily tested yet). Changelog - Adapted handler of SVDRP command LSTR to VDR 1.7.21+ format, including the recording's length. - Updated the menu parts copied from VDR to 1.7.21 - README now mentions the new VDR default port. - Fixed RecordingInfo update for TS recordings. The altered lines were appended but re-writing a clean version of the info file failed. So the recording in the menu was not updated, instead an error message appeared. - Adapted to API change of VDR 1.7.21 (access recording priority/lifetime) - Fixed crash when moving a local timer to the server Have fun! eepg plugin + UK freeviewHD = }?Ln??X??Z?Z

I have installed the EEPG plugin from the experimental branch; http://projects.vdr-developer.org/projects/plg-eepg/repository/show?rev=exp… (last revision was 26/08/2011), but I am getting gibberish in the EPG for the FreeviewHD channels. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Thanks
