How to use token {PresentVideoAR}? Whether it is on all channels? For example when I write in <display id="menu">: <block condition="or({PresentDescription},{PresentTitle})"> ........... <text x1="320" x2="410" y1="-125" y2="-115" color="DB_LightYellow" align="left" font="Fix">Format:{PresentVideoAR}</text> ........... </block> then nothing happens.

Hi how is it possible to implement in text2skin-based skin follow information - which tokens is it possible to use for it ? - transponders parameters - bitrate and resolution - type of system encryption - BER - video format - 16:9 or 4:3 - audio format (AC-3) - what's token {VideoAR} {ReplayVideoAR} ? Hi, a new femon plugin release is now available for latest development vdr versions: http://www.saunalahti.fi/~rahrenbe/vdr/femon/ 2009-08-29: Version 1.7.3 - Removed OSD offset and height options. - Added PES assembler. - Added bitstream parsers for all codecs. There has been a major rewrite since the previous release, so I might have broken the AAC/AC3/H.264 bitstream parsers as I don't have such streams available and couldn't find any beta testers either. HD clients for vdr

I recently saw the popcornhour and the HD demo on the popcorn wasn't what I expected. It felt like the early adopters of the first DVD players that came out. It was more jittery than a Blu-Ray disk on a PS3. So now I am wondering, what is the best silent/cheap client out there? That actually does 100% smooth playback like a normal DVD except at HD resolution/video bandwidth? Are there popcorn alternatives? Or is the best now to get a nvidia 9400/9500 to do video decode acceleration with a Core 2 Duo type processor of about 3GHz? What are you opinion? Theunis

vdr-xine 0.9.3 audio problems

Hi I've just upgraded from vdr-xine 0.8.0 to 0.9.3 (well overdue) and I'm having audio problems. When each of the following lines appeared in std-out, it coincides with skips in audio and gaps in audio sync buffered 6.3 frames (v:10.9, a:6.3) buffered 7.1 frames (v:13.5, a:7.1) buffered 8.5 frames (v:14.5, a:8.5) buffered 9.1 frames (v:15.1, a:9.1) buffered 10.3 frames (v:16.7, a:10.3) buffered 11.1 frames (v:17.3, a:11.1) buffered 12.2 frames (v:18.8, a:12.2) buffered 13.5 frames (v:19.7, a:13.5) buffered 14.1 frames (v:20.2, a:14.1) buffered 15.4 frames (v:21.0, a:15.4) I might have to revert back to vdr-xine-0.8.0 again - this was the same problem I had with all versions beyond 0.8.0, and previous attempts to upgrade Any ideas?

Turn off/relocate ts error logging

My log files get so big it,s very hard to check them because of the ts error messages that get flooded to it. I've had logs near 2gb in size. I have a problem with xine crashing when there is a weak signal and the ts loging bloating the log files is creating a lot of problems. Need a way to turn off ts error loging or relocate to another file.

It requires: mpeg2enc ppmtoy4m pngtopnm The first two are in the mjpegtools package for Ubuntu. Not enough pngtopnm. no EPG

Hello, I have used VDR for a long time with no EPG problems but some day I stopped seeing epg data. Then I decided upgrade my old vdr 1.4.7 to 1.6-2 but EPG has not returned. I checked the epg.data file and it is empty. I also looked the syslog but I don't see any information related to the epg. I can see the tv channels perfectly. I have 2 dvb-t devices and 2 dvb-s devices but currently no dvb-s channels in channels.conf. Could be the cause of the problem? Thank you. Leo
