Automatically change the channel at a certain time?

Is this possible? With vdr 1.3.27 I'd often set a one-minute timer simply to change the TV channel in case I forget to see a certain programme (it's a live competition, so there's no point in actually recording it).. however vdr 1.3.30 is 'clever' enough to realise that the programme I selected is actually set to the wrong times, correct it, and hence start recording immediately and change the channel... live picture freezes when recording starts

I am not sure if the problem comes with 1.3.27 or 1.3.28, but it is still present in 1.3.30: - I am watching tv, for example Nord3 - a timer records starts on this channel - the live picture freezes. Sometimes I got a black picture and a few seconds later the live picture comes back - when the recording ends, the picture again freezes or -I am watching playback of a recording -recording ends - the picture freezes, does not switch back to live tv Three other people also reported this on http://www.vdrportal.de/board/thread.php?threadid=37983&sid=

I have still big problems with vdr 1.3.30 It seems that only myself and a few other guys from vdrportal have the same problem that I posted on 23.8. ("live picture freezes when recording starts"). Hi, I want to digitise my old analogue tapes, so that I can play-back them with VDR 1.3.27. I'm working on a patch that would introduce a "suspend" key to VDR. The output device I'm using (softdevice) has a suspend function, but it has some limitations. Most notably, the playback of recordings won't pause when the softdevice is suspended. I got that one already fixed in my suspend patch for vdr 1.3.30, but I have another question: Does vdr always keep the receivers tuned to transponders?
