Problems building xine-lib on openSUSE 11.0 w/ gcc 4.3.1

Hi, this seems to be a famous one, possibly a GCC bug according to some fora. The idea of adding the DVB support in form of plugins instead of including it in the core code? Before I left on vacation there was some talk about how this is a better solution these days but not sure if anything ever came out of that...? Thanks.

S2API in VDR

Mainly because, he has that card ;-) Currently, patches exist for the S2-3200. Steven waits for the official word from Manu to pull the support of S2-3200 into S2API. Hello, do you know an solution to make VDR (maybe with the use of the sreamdev-plugin) to stream using multicast? I have an IPTV Settop Box, which I would like to use for wathing TV, but it only works with IP-Multicast... Thanks, Artem

[PATCH] epg2timers TVTV access

Hi all, I don't know, how many are using this script but I still like it. But TVTV is not that reliable as in former times before the facelift of the site. Sometimes the server is not reachable, sometimes the content is not available or only for the next days. But if you can get the information it realy good. But in the last days I couldn't get my "Merkliste" from the TVTV Server. The reason seems to bee that they have changed again something in there webserver directory structure. I have now created a small patch (see attachement) to the epg2timer_1.5.2a which reflects theses changes. Ignore the ONID

Hi, my cable provider (KabelBW) changed most of the channels on most of the transponders. The ONID from the channels doesn't match always to the ONID of the epg data. On channels with a ONID mismatch, vdr doesn't show any epg data. I've removed the ONID comparison from the '=='-operator of the structure tChannelID. Now I get egp data. What side effects should I expect? -Hartmut

black screen with softdevice 0.5.0 and vdr 1.6

Hi, I am trying to set up a vdr with softdevice 0.5.0 (dfb) and vdr 1.6. Vdr and softdevice compile fine but when I start vdr I get osd and audio and no video. The channels I want to see are dvb-t, no hd. I did not see any error in logs. I remember have this problem few time ago but any mailing list or google search helped me to remember what is the problem and the solution. Thank you!. reelchannelscan for S2API-patched VDR

Hi, I patched the reelchannelscan-plugin to compile with my patched S2API-VDR. What I use: VDR 1.7.1 with - vdr-1.7.1_extensions.diff - vdr-1.7.1-ext_h264.diff - vdr-1.7.1-s2api-ext64.patch reelchannelscan-plugin from svn svn co svn://reelbox.org/testing/src/vdr-plugins/src/channelscan-0.6.1 -r9031 and my attached patch. Beware: I DON'T KNOW WHAT I AM DOING HERE! It compiles, it scans transponder and finds channels. It works for me, but I'm no C or C++ programmer... -- Frank Scherthan
