let vdr ignore non vdr directories ?

Hi all! is there any way to let vdr ignore any directories which do not belong to it ? What i have seen is that vdr is recursive checking all directories even on second and third video directory. If the logic is that all needs to be in video.0 directory and its subdirectories and symlinks will be required to let vdr find the recordings, it should not check the other video directories. Background: I accidently remounted /proc vdr readable in video.01 directory for doing some chroot. The result is that i lost 3 recordings. The log has grown to a few GB in no time and vdr made the system be occupied by that job. Those i think it should be enough to scan video.00 and the symlinks therein or check for some .vdrignore file before traversion. The first solution should also speedup re-reading recordings. Hope i did not missed a change in behaviour in newer vdr versions as i am still using 1.4.7 Think there might be others as well that are using the big disks for other space consuming things - nobody else run into this ? xineliboutput and PrimaryDVB

I wonder if it is possible to somehow make xinelibout automagically detect correct PrimaryDVB, now, every time I plug/unplug usb-devices I need to manually edit setup.conf for correct PrimaryDVB. ie, I have - dev 1 DVB-S FF PCI - dev 2 DVB-T PCI - dev 3 DVB-T USB (occasionaly) this setup requires PrimaryDVB = 4 to work If I now remove USB-device and restart VDR, PrimaryDVB reverts to 1 and I need to edit setup for 3. Multiple satellites in channels.conf

Background: Using VDR 1.7.4, I have a motorized dish and as the wind from time to time moves just a little bit the dish, need to be able to save positions rather than just GOTOx. As far as I know only the rotor plugin which does not work with S2-API, Kaffeine and xdipo ( a stand-alone program which supports bash commands) can help. My choice given the above is xdipo to configure and save the positions and then from VDR have menu entries (with vdr-setup plugin) telling the rotor to move here or there. - Can somebody point out a script to add a prefix such as 19E to all channels on a given file without screwing channels.conf in the process? - How can in 1.7.4 markers be added to channels.conf? what is the syntax? The idea behind is to do that for channels from various orbital positions and then combine them in one big channels.conf where it is easy to see at a glance what satellite a particular channel belongs to. Again if someone has an even better idea of how to do this I am open to new ideas

On every start of the vdr I get this error message: Apr 2 00:33:36 vdr vdr: [2462] ERROR (thread.c,225): Keine Berechtigung It comes from cThread::SetPriority and seems to be harmless, but annoying. Is the attached patch the right cure?
