Hallo, brave people might check out the new version of the zaphistory plugin. There is still some testing to do. Problems with TABs in OSD

I'm writing a plugin and would like to display some OSD output in columns like many other plugins and vdr itself does. But special characters like '\t' for a tabulator are not working. svdrphosts.conf and netmask problem/bug

I am either having a bit of a problem with configuring svdrphost.conf file or there is a bug. Lets assume my vdr is in address 1.2.3.204. If I put this address in the conf file I can access vdr through svdrp. If on the other hand I put 1.2.3.192/26 which actually means a block of addresses from 1.2.3.192 to 1.2.3.255 I am not able to connect. And it is vdr that denies the connection because it says so in the log (connect from 1.2.3.204, port 32780 - DENIED). Am I again missing something or … [View More]

Grab function for NTSC

Hello everybody, I'm trying to capture a screenshot by SVDRP but, apparently, it's not working properly for NTSC... I only see half of the image: either the even lines or the odd lines. I patched the code to duplicate the lines but the image quality is not very good. Is this a known issue? It also might be a driver problem... but I don't know where the image is coming from. DVD with AC3 audio question

I tried to find any previous threads about how to get AC3 audio out of DVD's. Could not find. Sorry if this has been discussed before. I am not sure how to do that. I have vdr-1.3.23 and dvd-0.3.6-b03 and DVD with AC3 sound is not producing any sound in FF cards audio out. Should I have AC3 bitstreamout plugin and get AC3 sound out from soundcard? \\Kartsa No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
